She was my beloved mom. One of a kind and unique in her own special way. Born one child in a family of 9 with a kind old Dad who was a World War ONE veteran. She grew up on a farm after the great depression. She stood up for what she believed in and never let anyone bully her or intimidate her. She worked very hard all of her life and made an honest and respectable living for herself and her family. She never asked for charity. She was always independent and self confident and pursued what she thought was best for her son and her life.
She was always there to help out her close friends. Her life revolved around me, James Steven Lyons, her only child. I was a part of her and she was a part of me. Soon our souls will be together again for eternity. I am so glad that she is now free from the physical torture of her dementia and that she is with GOD and Jesus. I loved her very much and will miss her every single day for the rest of my life. Goodbye to my precious mom. Your devoted son forever and ever. James Steven Lyons.
