Guestbook for Michael Wayne Callaway

Back to Obituary
I'm really gonna miss having someone to talk to, someone who would listen, understand and sometimes offer good advice. Mike was my oldest and best friend and I'll miss greatly. I love you like my brother. Rest in peace Mike.

Michael was a great friend and companion for me during our Air Force days. When we were stationed in Thailand together in 1971 and 1972, we had the time of our lives touring the country! Micheal remembered {and frequently recounted} that experience in astonishing detail for the rest of his life. And I will remember Michael fondly for the rest of my life. Rest in peace, Michael.

Michael and I were in the Air Force together many years ago. We recently reconnected, and reminisced about those days. I was saddened to hear about his passing. My sincere condolences to his family, whom he loved dearly.

Michael will be missed greatly. He was my long time closest friend from the air force days and all through the 70s & 80s. We drifted, as life goes on, but became close again over the last year. I spoke with Michael every week. I seemed to be doing okay but very depressed over losing most everything he loved. My heart goes out to his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
