Kenneth Chancel Carothers was born September 2, 1931 in Waterloo, IA. Son of Lewis and Gwenith Carothers. Proceeded in death by son Bobby Carothers. Survived by wife Loretta of sixty four years, two daughters Ginger Renken and Becky Roberts, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. His passions for life were serving the Lord, playing the trumpet, fishing and spending time with his loved ones. From 1951-1953 Kenneth served with the Marines and is a recognized Veteran. Memorial Services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home. Kenneth will be cremated and a memorial service will be held in Waterloo, IA in the summer of 2017 In Lieu of flowers the family ask to make donations to St. Judes Children's Hospital, www.stjude.org or 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105, 1800-822-6344.
