Mr. James Douglas Vail, age 76, of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away, Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born September 29, 1943 in El Paso, Texas to Paul W and Lula Rhoton Vail. Mr. Vail loved to talk to people about the Lord and loved music, and was a member of the Pentecostals of Fort Smith. Mr. Vail was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert and Chester Vail, sister, Shirley Croxsdale. Mr. Vail is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lou Outlaw Vail, children, Daniel Vail, Nathan Vail, Laura Tagert and husband Bobby, and Natalie Endsely and husband Bruce. Sister, Ruby Vail Dupre and husband Janord, grandchildren, Tyler Tagert, Chase Endsely, Tristian Endsely, and Kala Endsely. Brother-in-law, Tommy Croxsdale, nephew, Michael Croxsdale, nieces, Dawn Lewis and Leta Dupre Cornwell. Visitation for Mr. Vail will be held 6:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, May 21, 2020, at the Pentecostals of Northwest Arkansas. Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, May 22, 2020, at the Pentecostals of Northwest Arkansas, 2200 South 13th Street, Rogers, Arkansas with Rev. Tim Sullivan, Rev. BJ Thomas and Rev. Russell Hamby officiating. Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas.
