Memorial for Lois E. Schultz

Lois “Eileen” Schultz, 83, of Cassville, Missouri died Thursday, June 6, 2019, after a long illness. Inurnment service of cremated remains will be held later in Hamilton County, Nebraska. Eileen was born to Arthur E. and Ruby N. (West) Bish on her parents’ farm south of Giltner, Nebraska, on November 25, 1935.She grew to adulthood on her parents’ farm and graduated from Giltner High School in 1953. Eileen married Arthur D. Schultz on May 8, 1954. Art and Eileen remained in Giltner for 14 years, where they had two sons and one daughter. In 1969 they moved their family to Missouri. The highlight of Eileen’s career was working at Wal-Mart Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, where she was befriended by Sam Walton. After retirement, Art and Eileen spent several years RV-ing before settling in Sun City West, Arizona, and finally Cassville, Missouri. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Russell Schultz, who passed away on September 20, 2001 in TX, and one brother Marvin “Dean” Bish, who passed away April 2, 2019 in Sun City West, AZ. Eileen is survived by her husband, Arthur Schultz of Cassville, MO; son, Stanley Schultz of Washburn, MO; daughter, Gloria Hogue of Daytona Beach, FL; Grandchildren; Travis Hogue (Brittany) and Corey Hogue of Florida; and one great grandchild, William Hogue (Travis and Brittany). Eileen’s other surviving family includes three brothers, Harvy Bish (Jo) of Aurora, NE, Roger Bish (Deb) of Grand Island, NE, and Don Bish (Leola) of Gilther, NE; and one sister Shirley McVicker (Rich) of Sun City, AZ.
