Service information has not yet been posted.

John Hershel Duke II, age 67 of Rogers, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 29, 2017. John was born May 29, 1950 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to parents William Hershel Duke and Doris Ruth Snow Duke. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Master’s Degree in Animal Science. He enjoyed a lengthy career in the poultry industry before owning his own poultry related business. After retirement from the poultry industry, John was called to God’s ministry. He traveled to various locations around the world to share his deep faith and love for Christ. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was an avid Razorback fan. John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife, June West Duke; one son, John H. Duke III and wife Dana of Springdale; one daughter, Melissa Duke Fancher and husband Shannon of Huntsville; sister, Linda Norton of Alexandria, Alabama; grandchildren, Phoebe and Sophie Duke and Halle, Kathryn and Lauren Fancher and many other relatives and friends. A private Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Because education was very important to John, a scholarship fund has been set up for the college education of his five granddaughters. Memorials gifts may be made to the John H. Duke II Scholarship Fund, First State Bank, 2125 E. Joyce Blvd., Fayetteville, AR 72703. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 West Walnut, Rogers, Arkansas.
