Laurel Nancy McKenzie, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at the age of 71. Nancy was born January 9, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA to Betty and Leland Robertson. She married Paul McKenzie on December 18, 1971. Together they raised two sons, Bryan and Scott. Nancy spent a life filled with love for children. She will be remembered for her sharp sense of humor and for a spirit of generosity and compassion. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Leland George “Jigger,” Jr. and a sister, Georgene Davis. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, her two sons, her daughter-in-law, Ashley, her granddaughter, Bella, and innumerable nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at the Gravette Church of Christ, Wednesday, February 6th at 9 o’clock a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter.
