Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Sardar Shingara Singh Wander, departed this life on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age of 77 in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on April 5, 1943 in Surewala, Punjab, India into the home of Sardar Teja Singh Wander and Sardarni Jangeer Kaur Wander. He married Sardarni Parkash Kaur Sandhu on March 9, 1964, and they were blessed with two sons. He moved to Bakersfield, California in 1998 and then to Rogers, Arkansas in 1999 along with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Sardar Jaswant Singh Wander and Sardar Basant Singh Wander. He is survived by his wife Sardarni Parkash Kaur Wander, sons Manjit Singh Wander and Surjit Singh Wander, daughter-in-laws Amarjeet Kaur Wander and Paramjeet Kaur Wander, four grandsons, Kamaldeep, Gurjit, Pradeep, and Jagmeet, three granddaughters, Amandeep, Manjinder and Virpal, and five great-grandchildren Prabhnoor, Izhaar, Ajdeep, Anaya and Zameer. He is also survived by his two sisters Gurdeep Kaur Brar and Gurdev Kaur Brar. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Benton County Memorial Park, 3800 West Walnut Street, Rogers, AR 72756 followed by Sehaj Paath Bhog, Kirtan and Langar at Guru Nanak Sikh Temple on 1515 West Hudson Road, Rogers, AR 72756.
